Reading books, something both Volker and me like. After the Covid Collab just using the rules of the game Machiavelli, Volker got triggered for a new project.

In short it's called Noise Audio Book. This time I read fragments from a book that I like and have read, Volker turns the spoken word into noise. Another Lärmschutz and Terbeschikkingstelling venture...

This eleventh issue is our take on ‘Schuim en As’ (Whitewash and Ash) by Dutch poet J. Slauerhoff. Slauerhoff was a man of many illnessess and accidents, but with an admiration fort he sea and for islands. He worked as a ship’s surgeon. During those long, lonely travels he wrote many poems and story’s.

‘Schuim en As’ is a collection of five short story’s about the meaninglessness of life. Whatever you do, wherever you go, you always bring yourself and you can’t escape faith. All longing is in vain.
